A World-Class Lightweight Title Battle in Třinec
After a long wait, it’s finally here! Třinec, where the arena was previously bursting at the seams and the fans created an absolutely hellish atmosphere, will once again come alive with the best MMA in all of Europe. OKTAGON is bringing its electrifying sports show back to the beloved Werk Arena, and it’s going to knock your socks off once again!
The fans in Třinec have shown that combat sports are truly in their blood, so our return deserves something extra crazy!
A generational title battle that could go down in history. Unbreakable three-time OKTAGON lightweight champion Mateusz Legierski vs. the most successful Slovak fighter of all time, the first double champion in OKTAGON history and absolute legend Ivan Buchinger, who may have his last chance to capture the title and cement his immortality.
Slovakian comet and dominant #1 flyweight Veronika Smolková takes on a 2-time ARES FC champion with 4 UFC fights, Ivana Petrović.
Also heading to Třinec is the biggest Czech talent, 23-year-old fighter and #8 featherweight Jakub Batfalský, who is quickly becoming one of OKTAGON’s most prominent homegrown stars. Will he run through the champion of two Belgian organizations, Ayton De Paepe, who has already stepped into the cage for 21 professional fights?
Lightning-fast finisher “Ostrava Express” Tomáš Mudroch returns to the scene! Last year in Třinec, he brought the arena to its feet in his OKTAGON debut when he delivered the first KO via upkick in OKTAGON history.
And that’s just the beginning, with more uncompromising battles between modern-day titans who will fight for glory inside the cage and leave everything they have worked so hard for in there.
Add to that an iconic audiovisual and light show that will instantly pull you into the action and take the tournament atmosphere to another level. Something you can only truly experience for yourself!
Experience the spectacular return to Třinec with your own eyes. November 21 – OKTAGON 98 at Werk Arena. Tickets are on sale now.
